Solicitation Number: 179-2627-739-DDWP_FIRE_MARSH Project Title: 179-2627-739-DDWP_FIRE_MARSH Description: Durham Public Schools (DPS) is seeking a qualified contractor to establish a comprehensive life-safety compliance baseline for non-sprinklered elementary schools through the inspection, inventory, documentation, reporting, and limited repair of fire-rated life safety systems. The project includes 20 facilities, divided into two increments (Increment 1/Increment 2) of 10 schools each, and includes fire-rated doors, smoke-rated doors, fire and smoke dampers, firestop systems, penetration seals, and other fire-resistancerated barrier assemblies. It is intended that the scope for both Increment 1 and Increment 2 run concurrently to maximize the district’s response to safety related repairs.
