Enter through the gate off of 151st St. and meet at the parking lot north of the Administration Building.The work consists of the following: 1. Demolition of existing and installation of two (2) new bar screens and washer/compactors in the Influent Pumping Station. 2. Demolition of existing and installation of two (2) new grit classifiers/separators and replacement of the existing process piping and other miscellaneous pipe in the Grit Pump Building. 3. Demolition of existing and installation of new Dissolved Air Filtration (DAF) equipment in the DAF Tank. Replacement of equipment located in the DAF/Rotary Drum Thickener (RDT) Building associated with the DAF process such as sludge transfer pumps, recirculation pumps, saturation tank, air compressors and various instrumentation. Modification and rehabilitation of piping associate with DAF equipment in the DAF/RDT Building. 4. Demolition of existing chemical scrubber odor control system in the DAF/RDT Building, and installation of two (2) new radial carbon adsorption units and associated equipment and piping east of the DAF/RDT Building. 5. Recoat and other rehabilitation of the Unthickened Waste Activated Sludge (UWAS) Tank. 6. Provide and install all instrumentation shown on the Contract Drawings including all mounting requirements, power and control wiring requirements, as well as all calibration requirements specified or as necessary for a properly operating system. 7. Furnish and terminate all control and electrical wiring between instrumentation and equipment for properly operating systems. 8. The programming of existing PLCs and additions/improvements to the existing SCADA system shall be completed by Owner under a separate contract with R.E. Pedrotti. Contractor shall coordinate with Owner and R.E. Pedrotti to provide any necessary data for SCADA integration. Contractor shall provide R.E. Pedrotti with troubleshooting services and any assistance as necessary. 9. Contractor shall coordinate with Owner and R.E. Pedrotti to perform all factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, systems checkout and startup operations as specified herein and in other Sections. 10. Site work including grading, yard piping, seeding, sodding and pavement repairs. 11. Alternatives with the project include: A-01: Influent Pump Station – Replace three wet-weather pumps and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment in the Electrical Room at the Influent Pump Station. Work includes electrical, controls and other ancillary items associated with a properly operating system including any additional bypass pumping required to complete the work.All questions and bids shall be submitted through IonWave. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies.Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of their bid.
