Description: The City of Ceres is seeking businesses, individuals and non-profit groups(s) to manage and operate the food and beverages to be served from the concession stand and plaza area at Ceres River Bluff Regional Park on Hatch Road.  The main use of the park will be for soccer games and tournaments at the 9 field soccer complex.  There will also be many people walking, hiking, and relaxing at the new regional park.   Ceres Youth Soccer Organization has a 1,000+ youth playing and this will be their primary fields of play.  Adult soccer leagues and tournaments will also be scheduled there. Ceres River Bluff Regional Park Concession Stand

The City of Ceres is seeking businesses, individuals and non-profit groups (s) to

manage and operate the concession stand at Ceres River Bluff Regional Park on

Hatch Road, just east of Mitchell Road. This impressive 76-acre park includes 6

full size soccer fields, 3 mini soccer fields, concession stand/plaza, group picnic

area, hiking and biking trails, restrooms and a children’s playground.

The concession stand building consists of approximately 800 square feet, with 3

serving windows, and sufficient electrical to support various equipment, such as:

microwave, ice machine, freezer, refrigerator, popcorn machine, and nacho

machine. There is a storage room as well as heating and air conditioning. The

concession stand does not have a grill or oven; however a gas barbeque can be

utilized from the exterior of the building.

The City of Ceres Recreation Department will be accepting proposals from

businesses, individuals and non-profit groups who would like to operate a

concession stand from this location. The typical food and beverages which could

be sold from the concession stand includes, but is not limited to: hot dogs,

sandwiches, popcorn, nachos, chips, candy, ice cream, microwaveable food,

bottled water, fountain drinks, etc. No alcohol will be permitted at the park

site.

The City of Ceres is seeking businesses, individuals and non-profit

will be signing a contract (Concessionaire) with the City of Ceres for a

three (3) year commitment. The Contracted Concessionaire will be required

to have a City of Ceres business license and a minimum $2,000,000 per

occurrence and $4,000,000 in aggregate general liability insurance. The

Concessionaire will be responsible for providing all the necessary kitchen

equipment such as an ice machine, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven,

utensils, food, and beverages. They will need a cash register that

maintains accurate sales receipts. The Concessionaire will have all the

rights to exclusively sell food and beverages in the park.
