Roofing Projects

Edgefield County Government is seeking qualified contractors to submit competitive, itemized bids for membrane roofing work on three county buildings. This invitation covers both new roof installations and repairs, with the intent to ensure long-term functionality and protection for vital county facilities.

Scope of Work:

1. Edgefield County Courthouse
   • Installation of a new membrane roof
   • Approximate area: 4,200 square feet
2. Edgefield County Council Chambers
   • Installation of a new membrane roof
   • Approximate area: 2,300 square feet
3. Edgefield County Kneece Building
   • Repairs to the existing membrane roof (there is at least one confirmed leak, possibly two; bidders are encouraged to inspect)
   • Approximate area: 13,000 square feet

Bid Requirements:

• Each building must be listed as a separate line item in the bid.
• Bidders must include a detailed description of the materials and methods proposed for each item.
• All applicable warranties, estimated project timelines, and company qualifications should be included.
• Site inspections can be arranged by appointment; please contact the Edgefield County Building office to schedule.
• Proof of insurance and relevant certifications must accompany the bid.

Submission Deadline:

All bids must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM on April 27, 2026.
