Lafayette StreetGreenville, MI 48838All responses must be clearly labeled – “City of Greenville Air HandlingEquipment Replacement Project.”Emailed responses will not be accepted.Evaluation of BidsThe City will review all submitted bids and other relevant information (cost, best value forthe municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the products which the City wishesto purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or noreason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of theCity of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the bidselection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process.Furthermore, the city reserves the right to reduce the number of purchasable items on thebid specification list, after the bid opening, in order to decrease the final cost if needed tomeet specific financial needs for the project.Selection of BidsOnce the appropriate bid is selected, it will be presented to the City Council for approval.Upon vendor and bid approval, the selected vendor will receive a “Notice of Award” andthe opportunity to review the plan of execution for the project with City officials.The “Total Amount Proposed” cost will be valid for a minimum of 60 days after the bidopening date and prospective vendors will be held to the price presented.Scope of WorkThe City of Greenville will accept bids for all equipment needed to meet the needs ofreplacing and updating all wall thermostats (13 total) within the area of the buildingserviced by the equipment, as well as any or all necessary functional mechanisms neededto ensure the heating/cooling components work property with the air handling unit in thestructure.No sales tax may be added to the bid price, as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt.The bid must include any and all shipping or delivery costs for all merchandise requestedfor this bid project and consideration.Request For BidsThe bid must include any and all labor for this bid project and consideration; incidentalsmust be submitted and explained, as part of the bid.The project must be completed by July 1, 2026.Any bid submitted outside of the requested specifications the reason for the deviationfrom the requested specification of the City of Greenville.The bid must also include a minimum three-year warranty for all parts and labor.Additional specifications regarding specific equipment requested are found on the finalpage of this document.Request For BidsSPECIFICATION OUTLAYWhile there is no specific make or model of thermostats requested, below arephotographs of the current equipment.
