Project Bid Received By & Opening Information: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bids for the construction of 2025 Street and Utility Reconstruction Project will be received online through QuestCDN vBid™ until Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:30 PM local time. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, representatives of the City of Crystal will publicly view Bids at an online Bid opening meeting. Those interested in viewing the online Bid opening are welcome to join the meeting by logging on to https://zoom.us/join or calling 309.205.3325 and entering Meeting ID 945 4729 2466 and Passcode 337071. The as-read online Bid results will be available at www.questcdn.com following the Bid opening.

Project Category Code: Manhole Rehabilitation, Drainage, Aggregate, Bituminous Patching/Coating/Surfacing, Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Concrete Walkway, Concrete Pavement, Sewer and Water Construction, Fire Hydrant, Curbs, Excavation, Concrete Pavement Removal
Description: The Project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities:

  • 2,000        L F        Street Reconstruction and Appurtenant Work
  • 1,900        L F         8” PVC Sanitary Sewer
  • 650        L F        8” CIPP Liner (Bid Alternate)
  • 670        L F        15” RCP Storm Sewer
  • 1,900        LF         8” DIP Watermain (Poly-wrapped)
    • Additional Description: The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the City of Crystal shall comply with the provisions of the statute.

    Bids will only be accepted via the electronic bidding service through QuestCDN.

    The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any Bids received without explanation. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
