Overview

Summary

Mohave County, on behalf of the Public Health Department, is requesting proposals for Medical Examiner Services . The selected Contractor will manage the Mohave County’s Medical Examiner’s Office and the licensed Medical Examiner will perform forensic pathology services for Mohave County. All proposals are due before 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 7, 2025 .

Background

Mohave County is the second-largest county in Arizona and the fifth largest in the United States. It is located in the northwestern corner of Arizona and contains parts of the Grand Canyon National Park, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, all the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument, and the Kaibab, Fort Mojave and Hualapai Indian Reservations. It borders both California and Nevada. Some of these areas are in extreme remote locations less populated and may require unique travel accommodations.
