Project Description: The awarded Contractor will install at least one new separate standby generator system at the Dewey Community Center located at 925 North 9th Street; in addition, if any alternative bids are awarded, the Contractor would also install a maximum of three other new separate standby generator systems at the following locations: Waco Multi-Purpose Center (1020 Elm Avenue), and Heavy and Light Shops at Fleet Services (324 and 315 Colcord Avenue, respectively). These generators would provide a source of backup power to the existing buildings in the event of an interruption in the utility power supply. An existing generator shall be relocated as detailed by the City Project Manager, or designee.
Duration of Services:
The City of Waco is seeking to have the work that is the subject of this RFB completed no later than December 31, 2026.
Liquidated Damages:
$500 for each WORKING Day until substantial completion and $250 for each WORKING Day until final completion thereafter
