Tyngsborough operates under a Town Manager form of government with a 5-member Select Board who retains the hiring & firing authority of the Town Manager, Accountant, and Legal Counsel. The Fiscal Year 2026 operating budget is $54.5M with a separate Sewer and Ambulance Enterprise Fund. The Town has an AA+ Bond Rating and contracts with CLA for our annual financial audit.
