Traffic Signals On Call Services 2027-42

In accordance with M.G.L. c30 §39M, the City of Watertown invites sealed bids for City wide Traffic Signal On-Call Services from qualified contractors. Qualified contractors are requested to submit proposals in accordance with the Instructions within this Invitation for Bid (IFB).

Mass DOT Prequalification of contractors with the class of work “Traffic Signals” at the appropriate dollar threshold is required. The estimated value of this contract is $457,500.

Bid Deadline: General bids will be received until 10 AM, Tuesday October 6,2026 and publicly opened, forthwith.

This project is being electronically bid. All bids must be prepared and submitted online through Projectdoc.com. Hard copy bids will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority.For assistance, contact Projectdog, Inc. at (978) 499-9014.Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available electronically at no cost on Projectdoc.com under Project ID #261876, beginning September 16,2026.

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, or certified check, and/or a treasurer’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. The City of Watertown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as determined to be in the best interest of the City.
