The attention of bidders submitting proposals for the above-referenced project is called

to the following Addendum to the Request for Proposals indicated above. The items set

forth herein, whether of omission, addition, substitution or other change, are all to be

included in, and form a part of the proposed Contract Documents for the work.

Inclusion of this Addendum must be acknowledged in the spaces provided in the

document entitled “Request for Proposals 26-032 - Public Works Work Clothing”.

Failure to acknowledge any and all addenda in the above specified bid form may be

cause for rejection of the bids by the Owner on the grounds that it is not responsive.

This addendum consists of three (3) pages plus two (2) attachments.

Item 1: Questions and Answers:

Q1: In order to give a fair and more precise estimate I would like to know:

(1) What is being (screen printed) on which items? Is it just 1 area print?

(2) For other items that require embroidery (9000 stitch count). Would that be 1 color or

other?

(3) Do we as the bidder need to make new tapes for embroidery? In the case of screen

printing, what would the color print be?

A1: (1), (2): One color imprint in one location only. See attachment A

(3): Yes, the contractor needs to make new tapes for embroidery. See attachment A

Q2: Is there a bid tabulation or award notice is available from the previous purchase of these

items?

A2: Please see attachment B

Q3: In preparing our response, we encountered difficulty sourcing several of the specified items

through our authorized wholesale distributors. We want to ensure our proposal is fully

compliant and respectfully request clarification on the following items before the June 17

deadline:

(1). Challenger Jacket, Model SRJ754 — We are unable to locate this model number through our

distributors. Could the City confirm the correct manufacturer, supplier, or sourcing channel for

this item? Would the city consider similar alternatives?

(2). Carhartt Weathered Duck Double Front, Model EX11 — We are unable to locate this model

number through our distributors. Could the City confirm the correct manufacturer, supplier, or

sourcing channel for this item? Would the city consider similar alternatives?

(3). Lee Regular Fit Jeans (Lee Straight) and Lee Carpenter Jeans — Lee workwear jeans are not

carried by our decorated apparel wholesale distributors. Could the City confirm the intended

sourcing channel, or would an equivalent work jean from a comparable brand be considered?

(4). Dickies Work Pants, Model P874 — We are unable to confirm current availability of the P874

specifically. Would the City consider equivalent current-production Dickies work pants?

A3:(1): Challenger Jacket, Model SRJ754 is manufactured by Port Authority

(2): Carhartt Weathered Duck Double Front, Model EX11. For clarification, the Style # is

100098

(3), (4): As per the RFP language, substitutions are not allowed.
