Project Description: The Floyd County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the purpose of building a Shooting Range & Traiing Center for the Floyd County Police Department in Rome, Georgia. Specifications and required documents are located in the Public Files section.
A pre-bid/site visit will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. The Floyd County Police Department is located at 75 Glenwood School Rd. Rome, GA 30165. Although the pre-bid is not mandatory, it is the responsibility of the contractor to acquire their own measurements, pictures, videos, etc. and to obtain a complete understanding of what is expected for this project. This will be a time to ask questions and make observations of what will be required to obtain our goal. Change orders are discouraged.
