NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

The Finance Director of the City of Glenn Heights, Texas, will accept sealed depository

applications from financial institutions within seven miles of the City of Glenn Heights, city

limits, electronically via Public Purchase (https://publicpurchase.com/gems/browse/home)

until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 18, 2026. The City will also accept sealed applications in

paper copy. Paper applications must be delivered to the Office of the Finance Director, City of

Glenn Heights, 1938-C, S. Hampton Road, Glenn Heights, TX 75154 and must be clearly marked

“RFA 2026-03; Bank Depository Services.” All depository applications will be publicly opened

on that date at 2:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Glenn Heights City Hall, 1938-C S. Hampton

Rd, Glenn Heights, Texas 75154, for the performance of depository services for the City of Glenn

Heights, Texas, for the three-year period beginning September 1, 2026, and ending August 31,

2029.

It is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that the application is received by

the Office of the Finance Director of the City of Glenn Heights, Texas, prior to the

expiration of the time and date above first written. Applications may be mailed or delivered

by hand or common courier. Application envelopes should include the following notation:

“DO NOT OPEN – BANKING DEPOSITORY SERVICES – RFA 2026-03.”

Copies of the depository application may be obtained from the City’s website at

https://glennheightstx.gov/Bids.aspx or from the office of Sherry Roberts, Finance

Director, City of Glenn Heights, 1938-C S. Hampton Rd, Glenn Heights, Texas 75154.

Technical questions should be addressed in writing to the Finance Director at the address

stated above or via email at sherry.roberts@glennheightstx.gov.

It is anticipated that the City Manager is to receive authorization to negotiate the

Depository contract for the performance of depository services by the City of Glenn

Heights Council on or about Tuesday, July 7, 2026. The City of Glenn Heights reserves

the right to reject any and all applications, to waive any and all technicalities, and to accept

any application which it deems to be in its best interest. Each respondent agrees to waive

any claim it has or may have against the City of Glenn Heights, Texas, and its respective

employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or

recommendation of any application.

The City of Glenn Heights is subject to the Texas Public Information Act, a state law,

which may require the City to make the information provided in response to this request

for applications available to the public upon request.
