- Summary Denver is soliciting proposals for professional services to support the city's affordable energy goals. The city is looking to conduct a study and stakeholder process to identify pathways and actions to drive equitable electric rates and net energy metering reform in Colorado.
The study will include:
- A review and analysis of current rate structures within Public Service Company of Colorado’s service territory
- A review and analysis of alternative rate structures in other jurisdictions
- Stakeholder initiatives to solicit feedback and build consensus among key partner organizations
- The identification of leading near- and long-term strategies to achieve equitable rate and net energy metering reform
Required InsuranceThe city does not negotiate insurance requirements or contract insurance language. Any objections not raised formally during the selection process are waived.
It is strongly recommended that all applicants prepare a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for all insurance as soon as possible to expedite the contracting process.
Review the Sample Agreement for the required insurance amounts under paragraph 11 of this RFP. The required insurance coverages are:
- Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance
- Commercial General Liability
- Business Automobile Liability
