CALL FOR BIDS FOR PURCHASE OF MATERIALS

Disposable Polypropylene Tube Brushes and Gutter Brooms

for a Period of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Cowlitz County, Washington,

will receive bids for furnishing to Cowlitz County, disposable polypropylene tube brushes and gutter

brooms for tractor-mounted power brooms for the period of January 1, 2026 through December 31,

2026.

Sealed bids will be received by the Cowlitz County Department of Public Works, ATTN: Dan Bales,

1600 13th Avenue South, Kelso, Washington, 98626, prior to 1:30 o'clock p.m., the 2nd day of

February, 2026.

RCW 39.34 allows cooperative purchasing between public agencies in the State of Washington.

Other public entities (cities, school districts, and so forth), which have filed an interlocal cooperative

joint purchasing agreement with the County may elect to purchase tube brushes and gutter brooms

from the vendor based on the terms and conditions of this agreement, subject to vendor's consent.

Specifications and proposal forms will be furnished, upon request, by the Department of Public

Works, 1600 – 13th Avenue South, Kelso, Washington, 98626, telephone (360) 577-3030. The bid

proposal, bid specifications, and bid results may also be viewed on the Cowlitz County Department of

Public Works internet website at https://www.co.cowlitz.wa.us/Bids.aspx?CatID=37.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive

informalities and minor irregularities in the bids, and to accept other than the low bid if it appears to be

in the best interests of the County.

All documents received in response to this invitation to bid will become a matter of public record and

subject to the Washington Public Disclosure Act under Chapter 42.56 RCW.
