Description: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALTown of Mount Pleasant Recreation and Parks DepartmentOPERATION OF VENDING MACHINESTown of Mount Pleasant The Town of Mount Pleasant Department of Recreation and Parks is seeking proposals from qualified individuals and firms interested in providing vending machine services at Town of Mount Pleasant facilities. The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek out and select a licensee who will provide a high-quality service and upkeep of vending machines at Town of Mount Pleasant facilities (the “proposer”). Which facilities and the number of vending machines to be installed will be negotiated once a proposal is selected. At a minimum, four machines will be utilized; two machines at Mount Pleasant Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, NY 10595 and two machines at The Mount Pleasant Community Center,125 Lozza Dr, Valhalla, NY 10595. The Town will begin accepting RFPs on Wednesday September 10th at 9:00am. All completed proposals must be received in the Recreation Department, 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, NY 10595, no later than 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 3rd, 2025 in a sealed envelope. The Town is not responsible for any internal or external delivery delays, which may cause the RFP to arrive beyond the deadline. No materials will be accepted after the deadline. A committee comprised of appropriate personnel from the Department of Recreation and Parks and potentially other Town departments and boards will review the proposals and may, if necessary, conduct interviews with one or more of the qualified vendors as part of the final selection process. The Town reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate modifications to any proposal, as it shall, in its sole discretion, deems to be in its best interest. All prices quoted by a proposer must be firm prices for a period of forty-five (45) days to allow acceptance by the Town. If awarded the contract, the prices will then be firm during the time period indicated by the proposer. Each firm must provide all information as requested to be considered and may be disqualified for failure to submit any required attachment/ exhibit, or for submitting incomplete or non-responsive information, exhibits or attachments. Any such negotiations for a contract will occur subsequent to review and certification of proposals as fully complete and responsive.
