Description

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure helicopter services and all other necessary labor and equipment for the removal of the overhead shield wire (OHSW) suspension insulators and hardware at 112 structure locations, removal and replacement of OHSW dead-end hardware at one (1) structure location with DISTRICT provided hardware, and aerial number replacements at 116 structure locations with DISTRICT provided hardware. These services shall be performed on a portion of 345kV double circuit Transmission Line (TL). TL 3506/3507 is a double circuit 345/345kV line constructed with lattice towers, located approximately five (5) miles south of Interstate 80, between Sutherland and North Platte, Nebraska.

The purpose of the meeting will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this meeting.
