It shall be the responsibility ofinterested Offerors to adhere to any changes or revisions to the IFB as identified in this AddendumNo. 1. This documentation shall become permanent and made part of the departmental files.Attachment A: Pre-Bid Agenda and Sign-in SheetAttachment B: Revised IFB Bid Proposal FormClarification No. 1 – Addendum Issued: Tuesday, February 10, 2026 will be posted to the Santa FeCounty website and sent to all who have returned the Acknowledgement ofReceipt form to be placed on the distribution list.Question No. 1:Will in situ material be acceptable for pipe bedding and pipe zone backfill?Answer No. 1:In situ/native materials may be used for pipe bedding and pipe zone backfill.Subject to meeting the requirements for filling materials requirements of thebackfill technical specification in Section 31 23 23 – Part 2 Products – 2.1FILL MATERIALS.Question No. 2:Where is the source of construction water for the project?Answer No. 2:Construction water can be obtained at the bulk water station at the public safetycomplex off State Highway 14. The Engineer's estimate will be made available following the BidOpening.Question No. 4Can you identify a laydown/staging area for the project?Answer No. 4:A laydown/staging area is available adjacent to the La Cienega Fire Stationwhere the pre-bid was located off of Rancho Viejo Blvd.Question No. 5:Can grubbings be wasted onsite?Answer No. 5:Owner is fine with disposing on site and spreading across the project.Question No. 6:Page 13 Bid Proposal – this page references a different project?Answer No. 6:See Attachment B.Question No. 7:Bid Form skips item 16 and goes from 15 to 17?Answer No. 7:Bid form will be updated in Addendum No. 2 to include Temporary bypasspumping as Item 16. Temporary bypass pumping may be needed for theconnection to the La Pradera system (x2) and the existing OSHARA sewer.Contractor shall coordinate with the Owner and Engineer prior to performingbypass pumping or connecting to the existing facilities. Due to limited flow,bypass pumping may be avoidable by plugging and performing the respectiveconnections through coordinated and monitored efforts.Question No. 8:Bid item 22, can you verify this quantity?Answer No. 8:The quantity for bid item 22 will be updated in Addendum No. 2Question No. 9:RD sheets can you provide design contour elevations so we can verify amountof dirt to be moved?Answer No. 9:Road cross sections, shown in RD 26 to RD 56, include elevation of the roadcross sections. The quantities can be verified using the information providedin table included with the cross sections. Design files will be provided to theawarded contractor for staking and construction purposes.Question No. 10:Bid item 21 indicates 11 acres of Clearing & Grubbing. However, bid item 40only shows 3 acres of reseeding. (The roadway only accounts for 3 acres ofarea) Please clarify.Answer No. 10:The original quantities were based on total disturbed areas to daylight minusthe road section. On sheet RD-18,The existing culvert pipe will be extended in length. The culvert pipe isestimated to be extended approximately 14.2 linear feet. The final length of theculvert pipe is to be coordinated with the Engineer and Owner.Trench & Backfill quantities do not match pipe quantities.The bid form will be updated in Addendum No. 2 to reflect the updatedquantities.Bid items 12 – 8” Stub Out plans show 3 each, bid schedule shows 1 each.The bid form will be updated in Addendum No. 2 to reflect the updatedquantity.Bid item 17 – Asphalt Remove & Replace, bid schedule shows 380 sy. Plansshow almost 900 sy.The quantity of asphalt remove & replace shown on the plans is in units ofsquare feet. The bid schedule shows a correct value.Bid item 40 – Seeding, what specification applies?Bid item 40 shall follow the Seeding 32 92 19 specification provided in thesupplemental technical specifications.Please add this Addendum No. 1 to the original proposal documents and refer to proposal documents,hereto as such. This and all subsequent addenda will become part of any resulting contract documentsand have effects as if original issued. All other unaffected sections will have their originalinterpretation and remain in full force and effect.
