Category: Capital Improvements Bids Status: Open Description: Work to be Performed: The work shall generally consist of resurfacing the Lap Pool and Boulder Pool at the Prewett Water Park including the removal and replacement of the following components: concrete coping, underwater pool lighting, handrails, inlet and outlet fittings, VGB-compliant drain covers, lane line hooks, and the pool plaster surface, adjusting existing facilities to grade, relocating and reinstalling existing facilities, water pollution control and all other work shown on the plans.
Location: Prewett Water Park located at 4701 Lone Tree Way, Antioch, CA 94531.
The estimated cost of construction is $450,000. A non-mandatory prebid meeting is scheduled for 1:00 pm, February 10, 2026 at the Prewett Water Park.

No contract will be awarded to a Contractor orsubcontractor unless registered with Department of Industrial Relations.Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Antioch, California, hasobtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid to the various craftsmenand laborers required to construct said improvements, a copy of which may be viewed atwww.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/PWD.Award of the contract, if it is to be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidderwhose proposal complies with all the requirements described.
