INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR CAMARILLO STATION AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) is seeking interest from qualified construction firms regarding an upcoming bid opportunity for ADA Improvements at the Camarillo Train Station in Camarillo, California.

The project will include accessibility upgrades in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual requirements. Work elements include, but are not limited to:

• Rail platform improvements
• Path of travel improvements
• Accessible boarding and alighting features
• Signage, striping, and wayfinding
• Other site modifications necessary to improve accessibility

Pre-Bid Conference & Job Walk (OPTIONAL): A pre-bid conference will be held on October 16th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. (PST) at the Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) office, located at 751 E. Daily Drive., Suite 420, Camarillo, CA 93010. A job walk will take place following the pre-bid conference on October 16th , 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (PST). Location: Meet at station platform (west side – Track 1 located off Ventura Blvd and N Lewis Rd. Site address is 30 N Lewis Rd., Camarillo, CA 93010.
