Description: Town of Christiansburg Purchasing Office 100 East Main Street Christiansburg, VA 24073 ADDENDUM #2 November 13, 2025 Quick Quote 26500007 for Office Renovations at the Christiansburg Recreation Center This Addendum #2 supplements Quick Quote 26500007 for Office Renovations at the Christiansburg Recreation Center as indicated below. The following questions have been asked (answers are in red): Will the town be handling all fire alarm work? Yes.  However, the existing fire alarms should not be affected by the new walls. Is the contractor to handle all fire protection work and relocation? No fire protection (sprinkler) work should be required, but if it is required the Town will handle it. Will this work be phased and if so, can you describe the phasing sequence? The Town would prefer that the lobby section be completed first to allow the conference room table to be moved out to the new conference room.  It is preferred that the office area be started after the majority of the lobby is complete.  However, the office area can be worked on at the same time as the lobby area with approval and coordination of the Project Manager, Charlton McCoy. Will the contractor be provided a place to store materials such as drywall, etc.? Yes, the left side of the lobby can be walled off (with plastic sheeting) for material storage. Do you know the height of the ceiling of the original building? Refer to Attachment H for additional drawings that may support your quote. Additional drawings are included to this Addendum as Attachment H. All other terms and conditions in the Quick Quote remain the same. The due date and hour remains November 19, 2025, 3:00 PM, EST.
