SummaryThis RFP is designed to support an existing grant award under the Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP) offered through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
BackgroundThe City of Tucson successfully won a competitive gr ant fro m the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under the 2023 Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP). The grant aims to further the region’s overall community resilience capacity by better understanding the risks, capabilities, and needs of communities that have seen historic disinvestment. This outreach, engagement, assessment, and planning effort will be conducted through community-driven stakeholder participation in historically disinvested areas. These grant funds will be used for the City of Tucson and its respective partners to create a flexible and scalable plan outlining how to create resiliency hub networks in the community. This RFP is to find a third party to assist the City in the community engagement, workshops, and final report/plan.
