Communications and Engagement for Highway 62

Brief Description: MnDOT requests letters of interest for services to provide communications, engagement and outreach during pre-construction and construction phases of a resurfacing and improvement project along Highway (Hwy) 62 between 28th Avenue (Ave.) South (S.) and 46th Ave. S. in Minneapolis. The communications and engagement will be done in coordination with multiple partners, such as the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, nearby cities/counties, and other MnDOT projects. Project costs for the communications and engagement services are not anticipated to exceed $250K. This road construction project will be done in two parts: one part in 2027 and the other part in 2029. The goal of this project is to create awareness of and engagement in the road improvement projects on Hwy 62 by developing and executing communication and engagement plans and strategies. This includes identifying and informing various audiences in advance of and during the construction work. Communication will occur in a timely manner and uses a variety of communications and outreach approaches.
