The City of Centerville, in partnership with the Centerville Arts Commission and Keep Centerville Beautiful, invites qualified artists to submit their credentials for consideration in creating the Stubbs Park Storybook Trail Mural.
This mural will be located on the concrete retaining wall north of the Stubbs Park Amphitheater plaza and is intended to complement the Storybook Trail experience.
The artwork should reflect a whimsical, storybook illustration style with a focus on nature, trees and outdoor themes, aligning with the visual character of the Storybook Trail. A photo with approximate measurements of the mural location is provided in Attachment 1. Reference images from the Storybook Trail are included in Attachment 2.
Artists may incorporate subtle references to Stubbs Park features such as the Monkey House, Amphitheater, Veterans Memorial, Miami Valley Firefighter/EMS Memorial, playgrounds or other elements.
