The City of Sallisaw will accept sealed bids until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 20, 2025, on the following project.
STREET IMPROVEMENTS - 2025 MILLING AND OVERLAY PROJECT
Prospective bidders may pick up a set of specifications in the City Clerk’s office located at 115 East Choctaw, or on the City of Sallisaw’s website at www.sallisawok.org .
Bids shall be sealed in an envelope with the words “2025 STREET PROJECT” on the front of the envelope. All bids shall be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the time and date set for opening. If mailing, bid shall be mailed to the attention of the City Clerk, P.O. Box 525, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, 74955. If hand delivered, bids shall be delivered to the office of the City Clerk, located at 115 East Choctaw, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the third-floor conference room of City Hall, 115 East Choctaw, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 20, 2025.
Bids received after the time set for opening will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bidders are responsible for ensuring their bid is received by the date and time specified.
Bidders should carefully examine the plans, specifications and other documents, visit the site of work, and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters, which can in any way affect the work or the costs thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the plans, specifications or other documents, or should be in doubt as to their meanings, they should at once notify the City of Sallisaw and obtain clarification prior to submitting any bid.
Attention is called to the requirement that the successful bidder must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations and policies applicable to this contract unless specifically excluded herein.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. If required, the bidder may be asked to submit certain information regarding qualifications and planned work schedule.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The City of Sallisaw reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and accept the one which is most advantageous to the City.
