Project Description: The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) will receive bids for Industrial Cleaning Services. Industrial cleaning of the environmental systems at CVG occurs each year for the items listed in the scope of work section of this ITB and is an integral part of preventative maintenance of the systems. The buildup of sand and grit in the outfalls lead to premature wear and tear on the pumps. The industrial cleaning of the stormwater treatment plant allows KCAB personnel to perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure the plant is ready for winter operations. The annual cleaning of the various tanks allows for KCAB personnel to inspect the integrity of the tanks to determine if any repairs are required.
