TO BIDDERS AND PLAN HOLDERS ON THE ABOVE REFERENCED PROJECT: PLEASE NOTE CONTENTS HEREIN AND INCLUDE, SIGNED, WITH YOUR BID SUBMISSION.

NOTICE

It will be required that this addendum be signed in acknowledgment of receipt and that it be included with your Bid when same is submitted to Logan Lee-Marple, Contracts Specialist, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000. Failure to do so may be grounds for rejection of the Bid.

The following statements supersede & supplement the corresponding items in the specifications & drawings:

The septic report, permits and revised plans are hereby incorporated into the bid package and supersede those originally posted with the bid documents. The revised bid package can be found at (https://publicfiles.dep.state.fl.us/DRP/BDC/BDC%20Public%20Files%20FY25-26/BDC18-25-26_Manatee_Springs_-_Connect_to_the_Municipalities/).  Please contact the Bureau of Design and Construction’s Contracts Section at Logan.LeeMarple@FloridaDEP.gov with any questions.

1. Question: Just for some clarification of the permits in that document list, the permitted drain field sizes do not match the appropriate flow rate for the sizing of the aerobic units. Is it possible that the tank sizes are sized for standard septic tank sizes rather than aerobic units? I.e. the permit for the assistant park ranger residence based on the drain field is sized for a 300GPD flow rate in sandy clay loam. If that’s the case the tank sizes would be incorrect. I just

wanted to clarify that before working on submitting a bid.

Answer: The consultant has contacted Levy County and completed the

necessary steps to update the permits to reflect the designed system

sizing. Please see the updated permits along with the revised

plans, at https://publicfiles.dep.state.fl.us/DRP/BDC/BDC%20Public%20Files%20FY25-26/BDC18-25-26_Manatee_Springs_-_Connect_to_the_Municipalities/.

The plans for the Assistant Park Manager’s Residence now include

the following revisions:

1. Additional demolition of a 13" DBH tree (Sheet C110)

2. Addition of 10 LF of sediment control fence (Sheet C110)

3. Drain field sizing revisions (Sheets C111 and C112)

4. Grading revisions (Sheet C113).

In all other respects, the contract documents of which this is an Addendum, and attachments relative thereto, shall remain in full force and effect.
