Description: The City of University City has been working with Horner & Shifrin, Inc., and state and federal agencies to develop and implement a flood recovery initiative funded by the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). The project involves the voluntary acquisition and demolition of flood-prone residential properties to reduce future flood risk and promote community resilience. The scope of work includes demolition and removal of structures and debris, asbestos abatement where required (pending inspection), grading, and site restoration, all in accordance with the requirements and specifications outlined in the attached bid package.
