Background

Background: The southern portion of Deep Creek Preserve was purchased by the County of Volusia in December of 2010. Previously, the property was owned by the Leffler family and used for timber and cattle operations. The northern portion of the preserve is owned by the St. Johns River Water Management District and managed by the County.

Site is located at GPS Coord. 28.949503, -81.103120 on Leffler Landing Road, accessed from Preserve Entrance off of S. SR 415 (just south of Clover Crest Dr), New Smyrna Beach, FL .

Meeting location is at Deep Creek Preserve Entrance, off of S. SR 415, just south of Clover Crest Drive. Bidders are advised that site location beyond is accessed via dirt road. 4WD truck required. We are NOT meeting at Leffler Landing Road & 415. If you get to Leffler Landing Rd, you’ve gone too far south.
