The City of Dunkirk is requesting quotes for work to be done for four (4) projects fund ed through NYS State's Downtown Revitalization Initiative Small Projects Fund Program. RFQ's are being accepted for the following projects:

Fourth Street, Dunkirk, New York 14048Project No.: SPF08• New HVAC System. Removal and disposal of the existing HVAC system following environmentalregulations. Installation of an energy-efficient HVAC system appropriate for the building's size and layout.Integration of advanced controls for temperature, humidity, and air quality optimization. Sealing andinsulation of ducts to prevent energy loss and enhance air circulation. System testing and calibration forpeak operational performance. 1-year labor, 10-year parts, limited lifetime heat exchange warranty on Traneequipment. Compliance with all relevant codes, including those for environmental and energy performance.• New Front and Side Awnings. Design and fabrication of the front and side awnings that align with buildingaesthetics and functional requirements. Recovering two (2) existing welded frame awnings and a newwelded frame awning with the following specifications:o Recover existing welded awning over window in front of building with Tempotest #T5 – Forest GreenAcrylic Shade Fabric.o Recover existing waterfall welded frame awning over the door with Tempotest #T5 – Forest GreenAcrylic Shade Fabric.o Complete welded frame awning over the window in front of the building with a cover manufacturedfrom Tempotest #T5 – Forest green Acrylic Shade Fabric.• Integration of anchoring systems and sealing methods to enhance durability and prevent leaks. Compliancewith local zoning. Final inspection to verify proper installation and adherence to design and regulatorystandards.• Exterior Painting. Paint the front of the first floor, including areas around doors and windows. Repair andpaint any rotting wood. Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing debris. Apply durable, weather-resistantpaint. Enhance aesthetics and protect from environmental elements.• New Permanently Affixed Signage. Design and fabrication of 26” x 101” sign, 1-sided, Full Color DigitalPrint Treated with UV Protectant, Mounted on ¼ corrugated aluminum. Installation of signage at thedesignated location for visibility and permanence. Compliance with local zoning and design standards.Final inspection to verify adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.All work must be performed by licensed professionals in accordance with local building codes and regulations. Allvendors must provide references and proof of proper insurance, including general liability coverage of at least $1million and workers' compensation coverage. The City of Dunkirk, the State of New York, and the Housing TrustFund Corporation must be listed as additional insured. Within 60 days of selection, the property/business ownerwill enter into a work contract with the lowest responsible vendor. If the property/business owner chooses a quoteother than the lowest, reimbursement will be based on the amount of the lowest bid/proposal.Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses(SDVOBs) are encouraged to submit quotes.An environmental compliance review conducted by LaBella Associates has determined that the project does notpose any health or safety concerns.
