ADDENDUM NO. 1
Dear Proponents,
This addendum is issued to reflect the following immediately. It shall be the responsibility of
interested Bidders to adhere to any changes or revisions to the IFB as identified in this Addendum
No. 1. This documentation shall become permanent and made part of the departmental files.

Question No. 1: Relocation of existing items; Gym Equipment, TVs, picture frames, mirrors,
speakers.
Answer No. 1: The fire department will coordinate with the fitness superstore to move and relocate
the gym equipment. The fire department will move any TV’s, pictures frames, mirrors and speakers.
Question No. 2: Can you provide a lighting schedule for the Hondo fire station project. The lights are
only marked by letter type and no other information on what type of lights they are.
Answer No. 2: Please refer to the luminaire schedule in drawing E-001.
Question No. 3: Please provide Lighting schedule

Question No. 4: Please provide geotech reports if available for areas of construction requiring any
soil disturbance.
Answer No. 4: Refer to Attachment D.
Question No. 5: Please provide drawings/reports from the survey done of the existing reinforcement
in the concrete that will be cut during construction.
Answer No. 5: Refer to Attachment B.
Question No. 6: Confirm how the contract for IT Connect will be executed. Through contractor or
county?
Answer No. 6: Santa Fe County will contract IT Connect for the project.
Question No. 7: Please confirm that any equipment to be salvaged will be removed from the building
by the county prior to beginning construction?
Answer No. 7: During construction, existing kitchen appliances shall be moved and stored by the
contractor. The contractor will need to ensure that a storage container is available on-site for storage.
The fire department will coordinate with the fitness superstore to move and relocate gym equipment.
Fire personnel will move any TV’s, pictures frames, mirrors and speakers to include bedding, end
tables etc. prior to construction.
Question No. 8: What is the existing security system?
Answer No. 8: There is only a fire suppression and fire alarm system at the fire station.
Question No. 9: Another drawing referenced but is not in the complete set is S-320
Answer No. 9: Refer to Attachment E.
Question No. 10: In the clarification for the criterial on the temp housing please indicate if it is the
county’s intent to keep and utilize elsewhere the structure or if the contractor is responsible for
removal.
Answer No. 10: The County does not intend to keep or utilize the temporary housing unit. The
contractor will be responsible for moving the structure on-site, connecting to utilities prior to
construction. When construction has been complete and the county receives all approvals, the
contractor shall disconnect utilities and move the structure off-site.
Question No. 11: Please confirm if contractor or owner will obtain services from IT Connect for
Portable Temporary Housing Units.
Answer No. 11: Santa Fe County will contract IT Connect for the project.
Question No. 12: Has an x-ray of the post tension slab been done, if so, can you provide it to us?

Answer No. 12: The job summary report for the x-ray of the slab provided as Attachment B.
Question No. 13: Please provide As-Builts.

Question No. 14: Is there a Geotechnical report?
Answer No. 14: Refer to Attachment D.
Question No. 15: The building was built in 06’ our assumption is there’s no asbestos?
Answer No. 15: The assumption is no asbestos.
Question No. 16: Who’s responsible for moving the departments radio systems?
Answer No. 16: The fire department will be responsible for relocation of the radio equipment.
Question No. 17: Temp housing to be completed prior to any construction to the fire station?
Answer No. 17: Yes
Question No. 18: Current facility was built in 2006?
Answer No. 18: Yes.
Question No. 19: Can or will geotechnical report be provided to bidders?
Answer No. 19: Refer to Attachment D.
Question No. 20: Can or will completed slab X-ray report be provided to bidders/winning GC?
Answer No. 20: Refer to Attachment B.
Please add this Addendum No. 1 to the original proposal documents and refer to proposal documents,
hereto as such. This and all subsequent addenda will become part of any resulting contract documents
and have effects as if original issued. All other unaffected sections will have their original
interpretation and remain in full force and effect. Responders are reminded that any questions or need
