Description: City of Roeland Park, Kansas- Building, Park and Traffic Island Lawn Mowing and Lawn Application  Program 2026-2028. Please see attached documents. CITY OF ROELAND PARK, KANSAS BUILDING, PARK, & TRAFFIC ISLAND LAWN MOWING AND LAWN APPLICATION PROGRAM NOTICE TO BIDDERS Electronic bids shall be received by the City of Roeland Park, Kansas, until 10:00 A.M., Central Legal Time on Thursday, March 12th, 2026 for the maintenance mowing, complete, of the Building, Park, & Traffic Island Lawn Mowing, said work to include: Mowing, Trimming, Edging and Litter Removal AND Lawn Application Program. Bids shall be clearly marked "2026 – 2028 BUILDING, PARK, & TRAFFIC ISLAND LAWN MOWING AND LAWN APPLICATION PROGRAM". Bids received after the designated closing time will be returned unopened. Copies of the Contract Documents are on file at: the City Clerks Office, 4600 W. 51st Street, Roeland Park, Kansas 66205. Each bidder shall file with their bid proposal a cashier's check, certified check, or bid proposal bond, drawn on an acceptable bank in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Nonresident corporations that are not already registered with the Kansas Secretary of State, and all nonresident individuals and partnerships are required by law to register with the Director of Revenue, State Office Building, Topeka, Kansas, and to pay a fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each and every contract, as a precedent to commencing work on the contract. For contracts in excess of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) the foreign contractor shall file with the Director of Revenue an acceptable bond in amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of thirty (30) calendar days from and after the date fixed for opening bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
