Project Bid Received By & Opening Information:	The Greater Peoria Sanitary and Sewage Disposal District will receive and accept electronic bids for GPSD Project 2978 titled "Recoating of the Auxiliary Pumps and Associated Piping in the Pump and Blower Building". Bid submission will be accepted beginning Beginning of Bid Acceptance through Bid Opening Time on Bid Opening Date, after which time they will be publicly opened. There is a nominal fee to submit a bid. A virtual bid opening will be held on the day and time of the bid opening via live internet stream. Pre-Bid Meeting Info:	There will be a pre-bid meeting held at the project location on May 18th, 2026, at 1:00 PM CST. Attendees will need to arrive five minutes early to check-in at the District office located at 2322 S. Darst Street, Peoria IL 61607. Attendance to this meeting is mandatory and is a requirement to submit a bid. Any person contemplating a bid may request an interpretation of the Specifications or other Construction Document. Any such request, including requests for substitution of specified item(s), shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the start of the Bid Acceptance Period. Requests submitted within five (5) business days of the Bid Acceptance Period will not be reviewed, nor will a response be issued. Any interpretation of the proposed documents will be made only as an addendum duly issued. Furthermore, Addenda will not be issued after the Bid Acceptance Period has begun. A copy of such addendum will be electronically delivered to all prospective bidders

Description:	The preparation and recoating of all components of the system designed for the pumping and conveyance of raw wastewater, as included within the interior of the District's Pump & Blower Building, except for those items specified as not to be coated/recoated within the pictures made part of the Specifications and Contract Documents. Components to be coated/recoated include, but are not limited to, pipes, fittings, valve bodies, pump volutes, pump casings, pump bonnets, shaft casings, flanges, bolts, nuts, bases, handles, supports, caps, etc. Also included in the project scope is the coating of air compressor tanks located in the District's Electrical Building.
