Questions received during the Site Visit.:
Question: 14. What are the sedimentation and erosion issues?
Answer 14:
This area has rough terrain and steep slopes. The Contractor must control the
erosion at all times as the creek below filters to Rough Hollow Cove, and it flows
directly to Lake Travis; therefore, strict compliance with all applicable water quality
and environmental regulations is required. A Water Quality Pond is located within
the project area and shall be protected at all times. Weekly inspection reports are
required for all sedimentation and erosion controls.
Question 15. Where can we stockpile trees and brush cutting?
Answer 15:
Brush removal must be hauled off and trees removed or limbs may be shredded as
mulch spread on site under preserved trees on site or must be hauled off. Free
storage of stockpiles of brush and trees is not permitted. Any oak tree limbs that
are pruned area to cut clean and painted immediately (reference plans and
specifications).
Question 16: Where to park equipment and vehicles?
Answer 16:
Lot 30 LPG Tank Site is a separate lot and is not City property. Do not park on
private property. Construction equipment and personal vehicles are prohibited
from parking in that area, unless you have approval from the property owner. Do
not park on private property unless you have approval from the property owner.
There is only one entrance to the park. Every hour, the street must be swept and
cleaned. Because of the close proximity of the school, depending on the stage of
the project, there may be a time when the City may limit the vehicles to allow
school buses to navigate the streets.

Question 18: Use of Water and where to have a water meter installed?
Answer 18:
All coordination and compliance with MUD 13 requirements shall be the
responsibility of the Contract. Contractors must contact MUD 13 to coordinate
water service, meter installation and wastewater. MUD 13 maintains its own
requirements. Reference the drawings set for the proposed water meter location.
Question 19: How many acres is this park?
Answer 19: The project area is approximately 9.5 acres.
