Invitation to Bid - Mayor's Office Alteration at City Hall
i5 design group, inc. is accepting proposals on behalf of The City of Paducah, Public Works Department for the Mayor's Office Alteration on April 02, 2026, at 2 p.m. CST. All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, Kentucky.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING will be held at the Paducah City Hall building located at 300 South 5th Street on March 23, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. CST.
Two site visits are scheduled and as follows
Site Visit #1 – 3/12/2026 – 2:00 p.m.
Site Visit #2 – 3/19/2026 – 10:30 a.m.Site visits must be completed at one of the above dates and times. They are not mandatory, but it is recommended to attend at least one. Non-scheduled site visits will not be allowed.
This Project will consist of demolition and removal of two doors, existing coffee bar, existing closet, and existing entry door, creating closet in new location, infill of two doors, new bulletproof aluminum entry system with wood door, minimal electrical updates, new ceiling tile in full accordance with the Specifications.

ADDENDUM #1 -Paducah City Hall – Mayor’s Office AlterationsResponses for RFI’s1. Are all walls to be taken to deck?a. Yes, however the walls around the Mayor’s office run to deck currently. Please seeattached SI-1.0 to clarify which walls to take to deck.2. What are preferred work hours?a. Preferred work hours are during business hours (8:00am-4:30pm CST). However, it isrequested to provide an alternate to the bid to perform work outside of business hours.b. This Alternate would be Alternate #3.3. Are there specific requirements on buzzer and access control system?a. The city has decided to approach the buzzer and access control system after completionof the project. Please provide infrastructure for electric strike and low voltage to thislocation, Owner will provide and install access control system.4. Will a bid form be provided?a. Bid form was part of initial specifications, however, additional space for alternates hasbeen provided on bid form. Please see attached updated bid form.5. There are missing pages from front end specifications, please provide?a. It appears that original numbering of front end specifications were off, there are not anypages missing.6. Is there an estimate for bonding purposes?a. There is not an estimate to be provided. Bonding should be done off of your bid value.7. Please provide dust control measures for work to ensure that construction dust is notescaping to other suites or common space.8. To capture some sort of value for potential of making the bulletproof glass wider in the casethat the wood panels are not salvageable after removal, please provide a $15,000allowance for additional 2 panels that will be required.9.
