Overview

Summary

This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the Beachview Drive Sidewalk Improvement Project. The successful Bidder shall provide all skill, labor, material, and equipment to install approximately 1,150 linear feet of new 5' concrete sidewalk as indicated in the construction plans and specifications attached herein. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all skill, labor, equipment, materials/products and performing all project coordination necessary to install the sidewalk and furnishings. The work will contain, but is not limited to, sidewalk construction, demo, clearing and grubbing, borrow, grading, backfilling , grassing, striping , signage and erosion control. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the construction drawings provided herein. All material and work shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications, Special provisions and Scope of Work.

Background

Beachview Dr is a heavily traveled pedestrian area, Currently there is not an existing dedicated pedestrian path. This project will install a safe designated pedestrian pathway to allow ingress and egress along this avenue between the Pier Village and the existing sidewalk located at Ocean Blvd.

Pre-Qualification Packet Submission Deadline:

March 24, 2026, 5:00pm

This Project requires pre-qualification and all vendors must be pre-qualified through Glynn County prior to the submission of a bid. A pre-qualification questionnaire and criteria packet are available under "Attachments" of this solicitation. Prequalification packets must be submitted by March 24th, 2026, at 5:00PM to Maria Nikki Thompson either in person at the Glynn County Finance Office (1725 Reynolds Street Brunswick, GA 31520) or by e-mail maria.thompson@glynncounty-ga.gov .
