SummaryThe scope of work for this RFP is to deliver a thorough Network Infrastructure Assessment for the County of Sacramento.
The goal is to understand the security and efficiency of the County's Network to meet the needs of County of Sacramento departments and constituents currently and in the future. This RFP seeks qualified vendors capable of providing the expertise needed to perform a through Network Infrastructure Assessment.
BackgroundSacramento County was incorporated in 1850 as one of the original 27 counties of the State of California. A five-member elected Board of Supervisors serves as the government body of the County, establishing policy and exercising legislative authority. The County Executive, appointed by the Board, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the County and is generally responsible for the County’s day-to-day operations. Sacramento County has an estimated population of 2.1 million residents. The County is staffed by approximately 12,000 full-time employees and manages an annual budget of almost $5.8 billion.
This RFP is required to award a contract(s) to perform an assessment of the County's Network environment. The Contract(s) will provide for specialized services as outlined in this RFP and may need approval of by the County Board of Supervisors before work can begin.
The County intends to issue a 1 (one) year contract with the ability to extend for up to 4 (four) additional 1 (one) year periods.
