Description: BID CALL Sealed Bids for the following project are sought:  Chippewa Street Improvements General Project Description: This project consists of approximately 3218 square yards (SY) of pavement removal and replacement, 1824 square feet (SF) of PCC sidewalk removal and replacement, geotechnical fabric, driveway pavement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, and detectable warnings, along with all necessary items and incidentals required to complete the project according to the plans and specifications.  A location map is shown on the cover of the Plans. Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Chippewa Street Improvements” at the following location before the following date and time: Office of Town Clerk 11 Uptown Circle Normal, IL 61761 BID DUE DATE: Wednesday, April 9, 2025 BID DUE TIME: 2:30 PM Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Bid Due Time in Office of the Town Clerk, 11 Uptown Circle, Normal, IL 61761 This is a prevailing-wage project. Bid documents are available electronically from the Town of Normal website at http://www.normalil.gov/bids.aspx . A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the One Uptown Conference Room (2 nd Floor), 1 Uptown Circle, Normal, IL.
