Scope of Services
Sterile Insect Farms, Inc. will provide weekly shipments of male Aedes aegypti mosquitoes sterilized by X-ray radiation. The sterilized males will be released in select areas of the county to reduce the population of Ae. aegypti by mating with wild females resulting in infertile eggs. Ae. aegypti are competent vectors of several mosquito borne diseases such as Dengue and Zika.
