Description: The City of Albany (“City”) seeks Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering, landscape architecture, urban design, and planning firms interested in providing professional consulting services related to the planning, design, and implementation of transformative streetscape improvements within Downtown Albany. The City seeks to retain a consultant team with demonstrated experience in downtown revitalization, pedestrian-focused complete streets design, multimodal transportation planning, urban design, public engagement, utility coordination, and construction administration services. The selected consultant will assist the City, in partnership with other local stakeholders, in developing a comprehensive vision and implementation strategy for improving the functionality, safety, accessibility, aesthetics, and economic vitality of the downtown area. This RFQ is intended to identify the most qualified consultant team. The City reserves the right to negotiate the scope of services and compensation with the highest-ranked respondent. MWBE-Certified vendors are encouraged to submit Statements in response to this RFQ.
