Description: The City of Independence, Kansas is soliciting proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a new electrical service at the Riverside Park Zoo Duck Pond area, located in the 1600 block of North 5th Street. This project includes the installation of a new 200-amp electrical service, underground distribution, and multiple outdoor power locations to support zoo operations. All work shall comply with the 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC), applicable local codes, and Evergy service requirements. The City reserves the right to: ? Reject any or all proposals ? Waive informalities ? Accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the City ?
