Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Revised w/ Addendum 1) City of Garden City Valley View Cemetery Expansion 2025 W2401-01 Sealed Bids for the construction of the Valley View Cemetery Expansion project will be received by City of Garden City in person and by mail at the City Administrative Center: City of Garden City NDS Department, Engineering Services 301 N 8 th Street PO Box 998 Garden City, KS 67846 and electronically in accordance with the electronic bidding instructions, until 2:30 P.M. local time on Wednesday, February 19th, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and via a virtual bid opening hosted as a web meeting and conference call .  Full bid submittal requirements are in the bidding documents. Bidding Documents in electronic PDF format can be viewed or downloaded through the online Plan Room at https://www.wilsoncoplanroom.com at no charge.  Printed copies are not available from the City or Issuing Office and must be arranged independently by the prospective bidder.  Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. must register or log-in to view and/or download Bidding Documents.  Complete sets of Bidding Documents must be used in preparing Bids; neither OWNER nor ENGINEER assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.   For any questions regarding ordering or viewing of the Bidding Documents please contact the OWNER. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. This Project is locally funded.  Buy America and Davis Bacon do not apply to this project. A pre-bid conference will be held February 5 th , 1:30 pm local time, initially at City Hall, 301 N. 8th Street, proceeded by an on-site visit to Valley View Cemetery at 2900 North Main St. if necessary.  Attendance by bidders (prime contractor) and Irrigation contractor/subcontractor is mandatory.
