This bid includes the following Work:
Remove, dispose, and replace concrete curb and asphalt pavement at the Johnson County New Century Adult Detention Center, including all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any and all other items necessary to complete the Work.
Copies of the Project Manual and Drawings are available through IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net/SourcingEvents.aspx?SourceType=1 or can be downloaded for a non-refundable fee online at https://www.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution public jobs plan room; additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com .
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held on May 14, 2025, at 10:00AM CT, at the New Century Adult Detention Center located at 27745 W. 159th Street, New Century, Kansas 66031.  Please gather in the employee parking lot.
Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on May 21, 2025, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed.
Bidders shall submit the following with their bid:
  • Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas.
No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
