INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids will be received by the Becker County Engineer at the Becker County Highway

Department at 1771 North Tower Road, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501 for the following seasonal

materials or services:

Bituminous Materials: CRS-2P Emulsion

Dust Control: Calcium Chloride or Magnesium Chloride

Bids will be received at the above stated address until 9:00 a.m., April 7th, 2026.

Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms supplied by Becker County and in accordance

with the Instructions to Bidders, Bid Specifications and Requirements contained in the Bidding

Documents.

Bids will be presented to the County Board with recommendations for award on April 21st, 2026

Copies of the specifications and proposal forms may be reviewed and/or obtained without charge

from the office of the County Engineer at 1771 North Tower Road, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501.

Bids must be accompanied by a Bidders Bond, Certified Check or Cashier’s Check as specified

within each of the individual specifications and instructions.

Bids must be submitted in sealed separate envelopes and plainly labeled for which item is being

bid and delivered to the above-mentioned location.

The quantities shown in this proposal are approximate. No guarantee is made either expressed or

implied that Becker County will purchase these amounts.

The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities therein and

to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to Becker County.
