at which time the bids will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide improvements to Bay Path Cemetery, across from 95 Blunt Park Rd, Springfield, MA 01109. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.

Project includes temporary sediment & erosion controls, removal of existing fencing, furnishment and installation of granite posts and benches, installation of owner-furnished flagpole and signage, chain link fencing, associated site restoration. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $100,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com (during normal business hours) beginning on June 11, 2025.

It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on June 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 20, 2025 (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
