Town of MerrimackNew Hampshire6 Baboosic Lake Rd · Merrimack, NH 03054 · www.merrimacknh.govApril 23, 2026REQUEST FOR BIDLIFTS FOR EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCEBids will be received by the Town of Merrimack until 2:00 PM (local time) on Monday, May 18, 2026 tosupply, deliver and install six (6) new 19,000lb mobile column lifts and one (1) new four-post lift withrolling jacks for the Town of Merrimack Equipment Maintenance, in accordance with the enclosed detailedbid specifications and following conditions:• six (6) set of new Mobile Column Lifts• One (1) new Stationary Four-Post Lift• 19,000 lbs. capacity per column• 18,000 lbs. capacity with 24” wide• wireless battery operatedrunways• one (1) Wing plow adapter kit• Two 9,000 lbs. rolling jacks• The bid shall include the cost of• The bid shall include the cost ofinstallation and on-site training.installation.The bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form furnished herewith and shall exclude state and federal taxes notapplicable to municipalities. The bid price shall include installation, on-site training and delivery fees andto be quoted F.O.B., Equipment Maintenance, 76 Turkey Hill Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.The successful bidder will be required to provide an insurance certificate confirming the followinginsurance coverage: worker’s compensation insurance as required by the State of New Hampshire; broad-form comprehensive general liability insurance in an amount no less than $1,000,000 combined single limitper occurrence; and motor vehicle insurance to include bodily injury, property damage, uninsured motorist,and employer’s non-ownership coverage in an amount no less than $1,000,000 combined single limit peroccurrence. The Town of Merrimack shall be named as an additional insured on all policies.The successful bidder must also agree in writing to indemnify the Town of Merrimack from any and allliability, loss or damage, including but not limited to bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage,which the Town becomes legally obligated to pay as a result of claims, demands, costs, or judgment againstthe Town arising out of the contractor’s actions or omissions relating to this project.The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and to accept thebid which best serves the interest of the Town.Bids must be marked “Bid on Lifts” and returned to the Town of Merrimack, Finance Department, 6Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack NH 03054 by the date and time specified above when they will be readaloud.It is the bidder’s responsibility to confirm the bid is received by the Finance Department by the date andtime specified.The Town of Merrimack’s Purchasing Policy is available on the Town’s website:https://www.merrimacknh.gov/finance-department/pages/bid-opportunities; a copy may be obtained bycontacting the Purchasing Agent.
