Description: Brookings County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Structures and Approach Grading SNs 06-240-123 & 06-240-141 (PCNs 09GT & 09GU) Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Brookings County. Mailed bids should be addressed to the Finance Office located at 520 3rd Street, Suite 100, Brookings, South Dakota 57006. Hand delivered bids should be delivered to the County Commission Office located at 520 3rd Street, Suite 210, Brookings, South Dakota 57006. Bids will be accepted until June 16, 2026, at 2:30 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at 520 3rd Street, Suite 300, Brookings, South Dakota 57006. The Project includes the following Work: Remove in-place 30.0-foot long single-span steel beam structure, install new 3-11’x7’ cast-in-place concrete box culvert; remove in-place 91.0-foot long two-span steel beam structure, install new 138.7-foot continuous concrete bridge. Work includes earthwork, roadway grading, bituminous roadway surfacing, and installation of respective structures.
