The Missouri Department of Transportation - St. Louis District, has determined that only one source, Polara Enterprises, LLC, can provide the department with the proprietary GovComm Wrong-Way Video Detection System (GC-WWVDS). MoDOT is requiring this comprehensive GC-WWVDS to enhance roadway safety by accurately identifying and responding to wrong-way vehicle incidents. This system utilizes software, edge-based artificial intelligence analytics, detection algorithms, system architecture, communications protocols, and warning device activation logic that are not available from any other manufacturer or supplier. This is a one-time purchase.
