Summary

It is the intention of the Tucson Unified School District to procure professional services to support the implementation of a district-wide, systemic plan aimed at strengthening the leadership capacity of school principals and the instructional expertise of teachers and staff.

This plan is designed to ensure equitable and excellent educational outcomes for all students by equipping principals to remove barriers to achievement and by strengthening the instructional practices that support high-quality teaching and learning.

Background

Tucson Unified School District encompasses 88 sites throughout Tucson, Arizona. This includes 47 elementary, 15 K-8, 15 middle and 11 high schools. TUSD provides educational services for approximately 43,000 students.
