Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside the following, Attention:GaryAllison,TownshipClerk SealedBidfor:CharterTownshipofWaterford–HydrantPaintingBid26-04 and shall clearly show the name of the submitter. The Project, of which the Work under the contract documents is a part, is generally described as follows: SurfaceprepareeachhydrantinaccordancetoSSPC-SP6requirementspriortoblastcleaning.AbrasiveblastcleanhydrantstoaSSPC-SP6commercialfinishwithcontainment.Applyathree(3)coatsystemcomprisingofzinc-richprimercoat,epoxyintermediatecoat,andurethanefinishcoatasspecified. Notetocontractor:Surfaceprepare,blastorspotpowertoolclean,andthenpaint.Allspentabrasiveandpaintchipsmustbevacuumedpriortoprimecoatapplication. Checkallhydrantsafterpaintingtoverifythatchains,swivels,andcapsareloose. FurnishandcomplywithallappropriatetrafficcontrolsaccordingtoMDOTstandarddetails.
